really missing the mountains this year. For the last 2 years I have been spending various weekends in Snowdonia training for the 15 Peaks challenge. This year I have taken a year out and so have not been near them……miss it, although my knees appreciate the break.
Today is one of those days that I would like to be there, walking through the clouds and enjoying some of the peace and serenity. Maybe a doctors appointment to sort out the knee and then get the diary out to start dreaming again.

anonymity is a strange thing. In the last few days I have had 2 “anonymous” contacts, one on this blog and one via a different format. It led me to ask the question…”is there a right time to stay anonymous?”
I think there is……but usually it is exceptional as anonymity is often centred around negative things. Any thoughts?

some days paperwork seems to rule and this last month it seems to be dominating my life. Fortunately, I do not mind administrative tasks but once in a while it is nice to take a break and do something different.

12 months back, Celtics fans were wondering if we would ever see another banner in the rafters……some were wondering if we would ever get to the playoffs again (ok, they were Laker fans!) but 12 months on and we are playoff bound and it is still the first week of March.
It is a good time to be a Celtics fan…..especially after all we have endured in the last 10 years. The Pitino era is buried (not quite forgotten) – The new “Big Three” have passed the first hurdle…….now guys, bring back the crown…….We want the banner!

The latest Met Police Anti Terrorism Campaign has me really worried. If you are taking photographs, have too many mobile phones blah blah blah, then people are encouraged to report you to the police……to let them investigate.
Whilst I appreciate that there are those that are up to no good, it seems a little excessive and in fact seems to create suspicion rather than deal with the problems at hand.
If I see someone taking a picture of a tube station entrance, does that become suspicious? If I see someone with 2 mobile phones, does that make them guilty? (whoops, that is many young people!!!)
The pic on the right is one of the posters/newspaper ads…..I am going on record……THIS IS NOT GOOD!
