A month in the new role tomorrow. It has been a good month and most enjoyable. It feels as if I have been there much longer and despite the knowledge of it being a short term contract we have achieved a remarkable amount.
With having some uncertainty over my times of work etc. I have held off volunteering in some youthwork projects and been a little slower on a youth mentoring project that is on a “to be done” list. Hopefully the next few weeks will bring a little more clarity.

24 hours and the Boston Celtics begin a new season and try to repeat their championship victory. I feel like a child on Christmas eve, so excited!

after a few weeks of twitter have decided to stick with it but surprised at how few english people I know are using it.  So much better than facebook, IMHO of course!!!

I have been using the twitterific application for my ipod touch.

Has anyone read the latest add-on to the Childrens Plan for 14-19 year olds?

Any thoughts?  What impact will it have?  Does it actually change anything?

Once in a while a post sits on my mind and permeates and gets me thinking deeply.  Ian did a post, here, that simply asks a question of me…….it is playing with my mind in all sorts of ways. 

(And yes Kirbs, in a good way, no need to worry!!)

Messed up myday today. Have a morning meeting in the deep south and a lunch on the far north. It is possible but tight with negotiating London transport – here goes as I step up to the plate!

thought it was about time that I updated folk on my work situation.  On 1st October I began a 11 week consultancy with LCM looking at some different opportunities for training and for supporting the centres that they run. A week in and it is so much fun, hearing stories about what is going on in London and offering support as people work with differing age groups.  My heart is encouraged and after one week beginning to see ways to suport and help others as they seek to work in some tough communities.  Having a blast and getting to grips with the organisational structure.  Just hoping that I can provide some benefits and help during my time here.

yep, followers of the blog will know I was looking, well I have a short term contract based in central London.  Will share more soon…..enough to say, I am rather excited.
